ABOUT MINDFUL HARLEM

Mission & Vision

“There are three possibilities in life: to be something, nothing, or everything. In the first, there is suffering; in the second, there is peace; and in the third, there is happiness and peace.” – Rupert Spira.

Mindful Harlem is a non-profit wellness and meditation center that requires no spiritual or religious affiliation. No preparatory practice is necessary to recognize our individual and collective capacity to live an awakened life free from suffering.

This capacity is equally available to all people, in all places, under all circumstances, and in all situations, empowering and including everyone in our mission.

We are committed to bringing meditation and other healing arts to the Harlem community. We believe that a free mind, when nurtured, has the potential to lead us toward genuine authenticity and a life with endless possibilities. Let’s explore this potential together.

Make Mindful Harlem your home as we build a better future rooted in wisdom, understanding, and a higher consciousness. Welcome to our community.

Mindfulness is a love affair – with life, with reality and with imagination, with the beauty of your own being, with your heart and body and mind, and with the world.

- Jon Kabat-Zinn -

Mindfulness is not a destination or an end by itself, It aligns with the truth of every moment without arguing about what is present.
